John Withers has been in the Pastoral Ministry for over twenty-five years.
​
John Withers received his Bachelor of Art in English Literature, with a minor in Speech and Communications from San Francisco State University. He then went to complete his Master of Divinity in Theology from Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, CA. In addition, he holds and M.A. in Marriage and Family Counseling from Santa Clara University.

Reggie maharaj

​Reggie is currently charting new territory as he studies to become a Licensed Minister under the Assemblies of God, after numerous years of secular employment.
​
He is energized as he serves in various capacities of New Hope, from prayer, to teaching, as well as filling in for Pastor John during his absence. Reggie is looking forward to seeing how God continues to utilize his skills and gifts through the Holy Spirit.

marietta Morris-alton

lead usher/greeter
Marietta is a native of San Francisco, married with two adult children. She accepted the Lord 7 years ago and enjoys serving God's people. Marietta is a Deaconess and Lead Usher/Greeter at New Hope Community Church.
​
She has an Associate of Arts Degree in Health, and has earned a Community Health Worker HIV/STD Case Management Certificate from City College, SF. She is employed as a Unit Coordinator at Zuckerberg SFGH and Trauma Center.
​
The Lord continues to bless their small Janitorial and Discount Furniture business, which has enabled her to help family members and the less fortunate.
​
She aspires to volunteer in the Lord's House and assist others in their Christian journey.
